Project overview
In Web3, reputation matters, but traditional trust signals like followers and likes don't translate well. DeVouch set out to create a better system: letting users vouch for projects they trust, and recording those vouches immutably on-chain through the Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS).
I was responsible for leading the entire design process, crafting an experience that made structured vouching feel easy, human, and verifiable, without exposing users to blockchain complexity.
Project overview
In Web3, reputation matters, but traditional trust signals like followers and likes don't translate well. DeVouch set out to create a better system: letting users vouch for projects they trust, and recording those vouches immutably on-chain through the Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS).
I was responsible for leading the entire design process, crafting an experience that made structured vouching feel easy, human, and verifiable, without exposing users to blockchain complexity.
The challenge
Projects needed an authentic, decentralized way to build credibility. The problem was: how do you make on-chain attestations, a deeply technical action, feel like a natural, lightweight endorsement?
We had to:
Make vouching approachable for non-technical users.
Structure the experience around clear categories of trust.
Abstract away blockchain friction (signatures, hashes, gas fees).
Create a platform that felt safe, positive, and trustworthy from day one.
